Her Human Stuff newsletter was the reason I started this Substack and committed more deeply to my own writing practice.
Lisa is the author of Already Enough: A Path to Self-Acceptance, mother, and creative who lives with her family in Northern California. I came across her work just before I was pregnant with Solomon and it has been a life line for me in so many moments along the way.
What continues to draw me to Lisa and her work is her unwavering practice of honoring her humanity. Through her writing and glimpses of her life she offers so much permission to learn to meet our own needs with compassion even when we don’t feel like we are enough or that we are worth giving care to.
